Bucharest, Restaurant, Old Town
Caru’ cu Bere – translated as ‘beer wagon’ is actually anything but a beer wagon. It is a certified historical and architectural monument, and considered a symbol of Bucharest with a history that goes back to 1879.
Should probably be the first stop on the food and drink list of any visitor to Bucharest. Wonderful interiors – painted ceilings, ornate woodwork – make the place an attraction in itself, but do not leave without trying some food and watch the touristy but nevertheless enjoyable impromptu folklore show which takes place most evenings. .
